If you’ve bought a ticket for the Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood this year, you’re going to be bumping shoulders with the best – MKR Miner Diners Alex & Gareth, Queensland State Of Origin coach Kevin Walters and style queen Crystal Kimber.

The star-studded line-up shows the social stakes have been raised once again and the only place to be on Saturday, April 16th, is trackside at Clifford Park.

Ticket holders in the GC Event Hire Fashion Passport can exclusively wine and dine with the ‘Miner Diners’ and grab fashion tips from style queen Crystal Kimber.

Joining the line-up is popular local jockey and fashion advocate Ruby Ride, as she spends this year’s Weetwood on the ‘other side of the fence’ as she takes up the reins as a judge in the Hannas Fashions on the Field.

Ruby has grown up trackside and has a full understanding and appreciation for both the equine athletes and the social elements that are pivotal to a premier racing event.

“I am very excited to be involved with Toowoomba’s biggest racing event,” Ride said.

“As both a jockey and a local girl, I really look forward to Weetwood as it is Toowoomba’s social event of the year – a great chance to catch up with friends, dress beautifully and follow your favourite horses,” Ride said.

Ride is apprenticed to local trainer and Hannas co-owner Jim Hanna and the local department store is again supporting the Fashions on the Field as the event’s major partner.

“Hannas is proud to be supporting Toowoomba’s premier racing event,” Hannas co-owner Jim Hanna said.

“Weetwood is the biggest social event on the local calendar and Hannas is excited to be part of the Fashions on the Field on the metropolitan stage.” Hanna said.

Over $6,000 in prizes is on offer for the Hannas Fashions on the Field category winners, all thanks to Hannas and an extensive list of businesses who have donated; Wellcamp Airport, Qantas, Review, VIEW Hotels, Rydges South Bank, Dawn Osborne Florists, Tackleworld Toowoomba, Lion Co (XXXX Gold), Cicciolato, Jade Cook Millinery and Evoke Clothing.

Entrants can enter the Hannas Fashions on the Field at the GC Event Hire Fashion Passport from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

Clifford Park is excited about the partnership with Hannas as the countdown begins for the 2016 Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood.

“Hannas is synonymous with horse racing, leading the way in style and glamour as fashion is a key element at any raceday,” Jim Hanna said.

“Being locally owned, Hannas is able to expertly cater to the needs of Toowoomba racegoers.

“Hannas stock a comprehensive range of clothing and footwear, for both men and women, rarely found under the one roof.

“Hannas is famous for its friendly personal service and their trained staff help make your shopping experience pleasant and rewarding, making Hannas, the Toowoomba Turf Club’s preferred shopping destination,” Hanna said.

Toowoomba Turf Club Chief Executive Officer Blair Odgers urges racegoers to purchase their tickets for the Audi Centre Toowoomba Weetwood.

“We are delighted to have Hannas back on board as the major partner for Weetwood’s Fashions on the Field,” Blair Odgers said.

“Secure your tickets online for our dining packages or general admission and join us trackside on Saturday April 16,” Odgers said.
