School Competition

In the lead-up to Toowoomba’s most prestigious race day, the TTC has a number of community initiatives in place to educate and foster the history of Weetwood – one of the oldest sprint handicaps in Australia.

Earlier this year, we invited primary schools from across the Darling Downs to participate in the annual Browns Office Choice Weetwood School Horse Colouring Competition, which involves decorating three supplied canvasses.

On Tuesday, April 3, the artwork will be judged and winners announced at the annual Breakfast With The Weetwood Stars. This is a much-loved, free community event at Clifford Park where school communities are invited to attend and support their school’s artwork in the judging.

Enjoy a free BBQ breakfast, pony rides, animal farm, jumping castle and Cleo The Clown at the annual Breakfast with the Stars on Tuesday April 3, 2018 and support your school in the Weetwood School Colour Competition.

A special thank you to Browns Office Choice for their generous support.
